Senior Credit Analyst - Structured Finance (4-6 yrs)
Job Description
Primary role
- Evaluation, analysis, advising structuring of credit proposals in terms of NBFC's internal credit risk policies guidelines and risk analysis
- Interact and work closely with the Relationship team from the deal initiation stage to closure stage, proactively help the team to assess the main risks associated with the transaction and propose mitigants
- Transaction structuring and advising on risk mitigants in the proposed facilities to the Relationship team
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and appraise financial spreadsheets/projections
- Understanding of industry-wise key critical parameters and tracking industry developments
- Present proposals to the sanctioning committee and offer credit risk recommendation to enable the sanctioning authority to take decision
- Assignment of internal credit rating for the borrowers on PD and LGD model
- Assessment of the manufacturing and technical capabilities by plant inspections
- Assessment of the future business strategies of the borrower by management meeting
Secondary role
- Support various verticals like Business, Legal, Credit Mid Office, Risk, asset management verticals to ensure smooth and effective way of transaction flow like disbursements, charge ceding, loan selldowns etc.
- Overall monitoring of the portfolio which includes security cover computations to sufficiently cover bank exposure, annual/interim surveillance of borrower internal rating
- Support distressed asset management team for various resolution initiatives adopted by the entity
- Facilitate Internal audit department with data required for Audit compliance
Managerial Responsibilities - Team handling
- Develop sector-wise credit risk frameworks for Non-Infra sector funding and present to various business groups
- Streamline process flow and automating process for efficient operations
- Participate in various corporate strategic initiatives and projects
- Responsible for TAT
