Senior Credit Analyst - Fintech/Finance

What You'll Do:
- Evaluating the creditworthiness of potential leasing and financing partners
- Risk assessment of potential and existing partners, based on research and evaluation of financial, operational and other parameters
- Discuss the outcome of the credit evaluation process for every new / existing partner with the Credit Committee, Investor Committee. Highlight observations, red flags and key issues along with the decision rationale.
- Prepare detailed credit memo comprising business overview, deal summary, key observations, red flags and decision rationale based on credit evaluation conducted on the leasing/ inventory financing partner
- Evaluate timely collections from existing partners by tracking and collating information from different departments and highlighting cases of delayed payments to the BD team
- Monitor portfolio of existing partners periodically based on their most recent financial and operational information
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested depending on the needs of the business
- Work with the external aggregator platforms to develop and build relation with them and to evaluate deals routed to us by such other aggregator / financing platforms
- Continuously develop and polish skills useful for the role by attending trainings, informative webinars etc.
- We are looking for an experienced CA / MBA with 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of Credit evaluation / Financial analysis / Portfolio Monitoring.
Your Superpowers:
- Chartered accountancy / MBA with 2+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Experience in analysing financial information such as financial statements, MIS, operational KPIs, etc. including but not limited to analysis based on financial ratios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
- Dedicated individual with a zeal to drive and achieve results
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems
