Senior Consultant - Valuation - BFSI (2-5 yrs)

We are looking to recruit Senior Consultant Valuations for our client:

Role and responsibilities of the position would include :

Responsible for the analysis of financials, generating and analyzing of research information, Preparation of company profiles and proposal supporting documents.

- Working knowledge of valuation of financial instruments under IFRS (Such as redeemable, preference shares, derivative instruments etc.

- Proficiency with benchmarking of relative company transaction or funding multiples. Perform company, industry and sector research.

Good hands on knowledge of DCF valuations (creating and reviewing DCF models).


- Developing buy side and sell side pitches, valuation of companies.

- Stay informed of current business, economic and regulatory developments relevant to our clients including valuation standards issued by regulators and standard setters.

- Be vigilant of potential opportunities for business development and reasonable connectivity with market participants like investments banks or investor funds, Equity analysts etc.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- MBAs, CFAs from a leading Indian/International educational institution.

- Relevant experience (1-4 years) gained in either corporate roles, investment banks, consulting teams or similar analytical/ deal experience, Financial Analysis, Valuation & Pitch support (buy side, sell side).

- Exposure to complete fund raising or M&A cycle from inception to post deal integration is desirable.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Good knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and financial analysis

- Good understanding of corporate finance principles, corporate transactions, valuation techniques.

- Experience with database queries, Capital IQ, Merger Market, Thomson Research, Factiva, Bloomberg, etc.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Power point. -

- A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business and economic environment.

- High problem solving skills. Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills, able to demonstrate how one supports the other - and sound commercial acumen. Be comfortable working to tight deadlines and demanding requirements.

- Drive and ability to work independently.

- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations.

- A good blend of creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems

- Ability to work under pressure.

- Mature, proactive and displays initiative.

- Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs. This may require travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. Second language skills and international business experience will be useful
