Senior Consultant/Principal - Executive Search Firm (8-15 yrs)
Our firm is a ten years old retained Executive Search firm . It is involved in the transition of leaders into critical roles for multiple clients .
It is expanding the Leadership team. As part of this role, the key activities you would be engaged in are :
1. New Business Acquisition :
- Acquiring new business in different sectors
- To have knowledge in one or two sectors
- Initiate first level of contact with companies
- Consult / advise the client on the business within the context of a search mandate
- Maintain a high level of interaction with existing clients to generate additional business
2. Revenue Management :
- Prospect for retained search mandates from current, past and potential clients
- Ensure revenue booking & billing targets are met or exceeded
3. Client Management :
- Consult / advise the client on the business within the context of a search mandate
- Ensure the mandate is executed with the best quality and it has a high degree of closure
- Maintain a high level of interaction with existing clients to generate additional business
Job Description
The successful incumbent will be responsible to generate & develop new Search business for the firm.
An all-rounded role that entails clients- acquisition, on-going business development, candidate attraction and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively generating leads and establishing a solid network across diversified industries.
- Calling, arranging and attending meetings with prospective clients in the region.
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements with clients.
- Managing the entire recruitment process and prioritizing workload for select seraches.
- Qualifying client requisitions by interacting with all the stakeholders.
- Conducting on-going market research and mapping across the industry to identify prospective clients and remain up-to-date with market developments.
- Building a strong candidate network and managing relationships for various sectors.
- Conducting in-depth telephonic and face-to-face interviews, as well as candidate assessments.
- Keeping record of all activities using the company's internal software.
- Remaining up-to-date with trends and techniques in recruitment and executive search
- Undergoing monthly reviews and quarterly Appraisals
- Reaching assigned KPIs and Financial Targets
- Undergoing continuous in-house and professional training
Skills
- More than 8 + years of experience in sales and business development for multi sectors; alternatively working within a renowned executive search or headhunting firm or any B2B business development sectors with a proven track record of billings.
- Experience in handling and managing teams will be an added advantage.
- Expertise in generating & developing new business within the company
- Excellent success stories in developing successful relationship with clients.
- Proven experience in working across highly competitive environments
