Senior Consultant - Organizational Development - IT (5-8 yrs)

Bangalore Job Code: 937954

- Act as subject matter expert and lead OD Initiatives to meet current and future business goals in form of resource forecasting, skill development, leadership/managerial development, succession planning, talent management and employee engagement

- Accountable for day to day performance of OD systems and processes including managing talent, developing management and leadership capability and embedding values and behaviors into all people processes and systems.

Must-have Experience and Skills:

- Driving Organizational Development Interventions, Researching & implementing OD Strategies in the sphere Talent Development and Management, Employee Engagement, Succession Planning.

- Create a Leadership pipeline by identifying hi-potential employees

- Create and Conduct Development Centre /assessments across all levels

- Research, maintain and contribute to the development of organization talent in line with current market trends and industry benchmarks.

- Working experience in other aspects of talent managements (competency mapping, L&D, HR Analytics, retention etc..). Most important is skill development and succession planning

- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and internet research

Good-to-have-skills

- Experience in global role is highly desirable

- Working experience on recruitment and statutory compliance.

- Working experience on balanced score card is added advantage

- Experience in employee engagement index and talent acquisition is added advantage

Responsibilities :

- Guide the OD and Talent management team for day to day work and projects

- Develop organizational design and development plan, organization restructuring based on company strategic goals

- Define and mange change process to meet the organizational goals

- Educate and hand hold employees during the change process

- Prepare and maintain the competency mapping for each role, maintain the individual skill gap

- Identify training/skills/competency needs within the organization.

- Identify skills shortage and where there is need to improve, and work with L&D Team to reduce the shortage

- Analyze performance of employees along with HR team and assist in designing competency development cycles.

- Coach managers and supervisors to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness

- Develop professional, management and leadership capability development plan

- Develop employee recruiting and compensation policies

- Build achievement oriented working environment for employees

- Support new hire onboarding process to accelerate employee orientation and readiness for the role

- Assist in development and execution of Talent development programs.

- Assist in design and initiate employee engagement programs and ensure its effective communication to the organization.

- Assist in the implementation of programs that aim to attract, measure, develop and manage the organization's talent pool.

- Create surveys to obtain employee feedbacks for aligning them to right training modules for their L&D.

- Present survey results to HR manager for suitable programs to be designed.

- Generate action plans and follow up with managers to prepare appropriate engagement initiatives post analysis of employee feedbacks.

- Record and maintain data for planning for engagement and talent development related activities.

- Coordinate and manage all employee engagement programs and send out timely communication emails to employees when executing engagement initiatives.

- Align all engagement and talent management activities to goals and targets set in PMS. Inputs for the same can be obtained from HR manager.

- Create reports to maintain talent pool data

- Willingness to actively participate in other functions of Human Resources as and when guided by the HR Manager
