Senior Consultant - Network Security

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Responsible for Designing, implementing and managing Network Environment with mindful of perimeter Security across customer locations. The Individual will be responsible for the up gradation of standards and resolve issues with the current infrastructure.

- Designing, Implementation and Administration of LAN / WAN / FIREWALLS etc

- Manage & Maintain Global and Internal Switching & Routing configurations.

- Design and implement group and client level separation & segregation as needed.

- Design, implement and Manage DMZ environment.

- Propose and implement system changes and upgrades.

- Monitor systems health, responding appropriately to alerts and events.

- Adhere to Change Control and Downtime Event Reporting procedures for all critical services.

- Ability to design a solution by mapping a customer business problem to an end-to-end technology solution.

- Work a flexible schedule allowing system maintenance during off-peak hours (late evening and weekend work as necessary).

- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation adhering to industry best practices.

- Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties.

- Should work with Global Network, IT Security and Voice teams on major projects, Implementation and trouble shooting

- Ensure that the IT KPI's are adhered and make sure there is no deviation on daily weekly and monthly basis

- Participate in all security audits and take ownership in remediating audit

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Must have 6+ years of experience on Implementation & Support of Network and Security Infrastructure.

- At least 6-10 year of hard core experience on Implementation

- Have strong hands on experience on Next Generation Firewall

- Have strong Hand on expertise on Cisco ASA, Fortinet UTM and Juniper Firewall

- Have strong expertise on 2 factor authentication, IP sec VPN etc

- Have strong Hand on expertise on various IPS, Cisco ACS (TACAS/Radius) etc

- Must know how to protect the various network paremeters

- Good Understanding about Routing and Switching

- Experience on VA & PT would be ideal

- Ability to gather data to identify customer needs and use the information to identify, interpret, and evaluate system and solution requirements. Strong client service orientation.

- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Should be able to work collaboratively with other teams within IT to achieve common goals.

- This position requires extended work hours to support global initiatives and operations.

- Analyze problems and develop solutions to meet customer needs; may involve writing RCA for high severity issues.

- Strong analytical skills, including structure problem solving, quantitative analysis.

- High level of commitment, energy and creativity to meet demanding deadlines.
