MANAGEMENT CONSULTING - BUSINESS PERFORMANCE SERVICES - INTRODUCTION

Coverage :
- Market Assessment: Size, growth across market segments; Competitor Analysis, Structural dynamics of the industry, regulatory or policy issues that affect the industry
- Corporate Strategy: Clarification of vision and objectives, identification and evaluation of strategic options and selection of strategies.
- Business Plan Formulation: Comprehensive analysis of the business units and markets operated in and development of detailed business plan - Market / Product / Location Feasibility
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Generates ideas for new business for the practice of identifying new opportunities in Banking - Retail, MSME and Corporate Banking and other financial services sectors including Asset Management, Wealth Management, Securities, Exchanges and Investment Management sectors
- Delivery of Revenue on client engagements by independently leading projects on end-to-end delivery
- Use existing client relationships to identify new opportunities for the firm
- Handle development and publication of Thought Leadership papers and marketing collaterals
- Manage business leads, proposals, and multiple projects effectively.
- Negotiates fees and other terms of engagement
- Monitors billing/ Fee collection using billing reports
- Counsels project teams and individuals (via defining and implementing developmental plans) which will result in meeting future needs of the firm.
- Contributes to implementing and enhancing the firm's policies and procedures for knowledge management and management for the firm's intellectual capital
- Acts promptly to rectify and repair any risk to the firm or its clients in relation to intellectual capital
QUALIFICATION
- MBA/PGDBM/PGDM (full-time) - Only Premier Business Schools ( IIM- s, XLRI, FMS, MDI, SP Jain)
- 6 to 8 years of strategy consulting experience with Big 4 / Consulting firms or 6-10 years of banking or financial services experience in internal strategy/ functional roles with Private sector or Foreign banks
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- 4-6 years experience of leading and managing projects with clients in BFSI sector
- Experience of advising BFSI clients in India on business growth, diversification, market entry, strategy planning, business performance improvement, customer strategy, channel strategy and other strategic areas
- Experience in conducting market assessment, landscape analysis, strategy synthesis, competitive analysis, developing business plans, financial models for BFSI clients
PREFERENCE - CRITERIA FOR SHORTLISTING :
- South Indian profiles - Better if they are Tamil speaking
- Some Chennai connect would help (Eg. family, education) - should be willing to be based out of Chennai from a long-term perspective
- Understanding and experience of working with South Indian FS clients - would be a bonus
