Job Description - Human Capital Management (HCM) Transformation Consultant

Senior HCM Consultant with expertise in the areas of Human Capital management and experience in consulting assignments across the entire Hire to retire HCM lifecycle for leading Industry domains. Experience in implementing and supporting HCM based solutions is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work on HCM transformation consulting engagements. Work on creating a strategic framework for customers accompanied by recommendations for modifying and enhancing the existing HCM operations, procedures and systems

- Work on HCM Strategy and Roadmap creation for clients, HCM Process design & Process Harmonization,HCM Process blue printing and technology.Should also work on Organizational Change management

- Perform Benchmarking against Industry HCM best practices and provide recommendations to clients

- Should have good exposure to SaaS products in HCM domain which include Workday, SAP Successfactors,Oracle Cloud HCM and & other industry leading HCM products

- Should possess Functional Consulting knowledge in atleast two modules in HCM products such as Oracle Fusion,Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, SAP Successfactors,Workday and should have ideally worked in atleast two Implementation and support projects

- Develop a Business Case and able to perform Vendor and package evaluation

- Anchor and lead pursuits individually which entail activities like implementation/roll-out strategy design,effort estimation,solution design,commercials/pricing for deals

- Overseeing and creating presales documentation - Presentations, collaterals, POV decks, Customer Response documents etc.

- Work extensively on Business case modeling,FIt-gap analysis, requirements gathering,Use-Case generation

- Establishing and documenting functional, technical and contractual requirements

- Demonstrating an in-depth HCM process understanding for multiple Industry domains

- Analyzing the business needs of the clients to help identify business problems and propose solutions.

- Gathering the Business requirements through interaction and research and defining the project scope. Be the liaison between the Business, technology and support teams.

- Serving as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team.

- Publishing thought leaderships articles and other publications in this space

- Reviewing new technologies and developments in HCM space and identifying consulting opportunities

Experience & skill expectations:

- Experience in consulting with fortune 500 companies / industry leaders across verticals

- MBA from Tier 1/2 B Schools is preferable

- 10-15 years of experience of implementation and management of HCM solutions

- Practical and hands-on experience in implementing, managing HCM across the Hire to retire modules which also includes Talent management

- Should have good exposure to SaaS products in HCM domain which include Workday, SAP Successfactors,Oracle Cloud HCM and & other industry leading HCM products

- Should possess Functional Consulting knowledge in atleast two modules in HCM products such as Oracle Fusion,Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, SAP Successfactors,Workday and should have ideally worked in atleast two Implementation and support projects

- Sound understanding of Cloud HCM ecosystem,Knowledge of products such as Kronos,Workbrain etc.

- Should have responded to RFPs/RFIs from clients and provided best-fit solutions

- Should have worked extensively on various solution models such as Cloud based platform Implementations,SaaS (Software-as-a-service ) and BPaaS (Business-Process-as-a-service)

- Strong understanding of enterprise integration - Knowledge of and experience with enterprise systems

- Experience with requirements gathering, documentation (business requirement, functional specification, as-is process, to-be process, gap analysis, user / training documentation etc.), hands-on detailed systems, conducting and end user training

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users

- Ability to effectively perform both in a team and as an individual contributor

- Flexibility to travel within and outside of India

- Established thought leadership through publishing white papers, point of views, speaker in forums, conceptualizing frameworks and business solutions.
