Senior Consultant/Consultant - Retail Consulting (5-15 yrs)
- The Consulting Group (CG) of CBRE is a specialized advisory practice that undertakes assignments across a wide variety of real estate assets and works for a broad spectrum of private and public-sector clients. CG's portfolio of services includes:
- Business Plans, Financial Feasibility Analyses, Market Analyses, Techno-economic Viability Studies, Due Diligence Exercise, Entry Strategies
- Specialized studies such as tenancy mapping, workplace strategy, marketing strategy, healthcare advisory, operational efficiency optimization, etc.
- Part of Retail Consulting team - reporting to Head, Retail Consulting
- Required to understand the findings of market research and convert the same into retail mall design inputs
- Should be able to lead a team of research analysts for market research and then use the findings to make recommendations to the client
- Should be able to review the floor plans prepared by the architect and provide inputs on market led aspects of:
- Retail planning- location of anchor categories, placement of food courts etc, specific requirement of anchor categories
- Tenant Zoning - location of different categories on different floors, clustering and adjacencies between different categories to maximize footfalls
- Circulation patterns - ingress/ egress, horizontal and vertical circulation, parking etc.
- Back of house services (market led and tenant requirement based)
- Store specific inputs - size, visibility, frontage etc
- Should be able to assess the business impact of the recommendations on the mall design - impact on rentals etc
- Should be up to date with the national and international market trends with respect to mall design concepts
- Have experience in Business Development
- Responsible for and interact with CBRE international offices on multiple reporting which assist in tracking team's progress
- Working on financial models, preparing presentations for Clients
- Co-ordinate on critical assignments with both internal and other service lines within the company
- Preparing valuation and advisory reports for clients
- Working on financial models (DCF & Residual approach)
- Keeping abreast of the real estate market through primary and secondary research
- Interacting with clients/prospective clients on a regular basis (for ongoing mandates as well as business development)
- Responding to RFPs
