Senior Consultant - Cloud Application Migration - IT

- 9+ yrs of EXP in IT.

- 2-3 yrs of EXP in CLOUD is MUST.

- Apps development - Primarily OPEN SOURCE.

- Hands on Application migration to cloud - Double Take, APPZERO, RACEMI, NetIQ or similar tools.

- Planning and executing Application migration to cloud projects using industry leading tools, utilities and methodologies.

- Experience in automation and configuration management tools like VRA, Service Now, BMC, Nagios, HP OO, HP SA, HP CSA, Chef, Puppet etc.

- Scripting experience in Shell/PowerShell is added advantage.

- Demonstrates understanding of industry wide Cloud technologies and terminology.

- Understand the Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and Virtual Private Cloud offerings, and have the ability to discuss with authority.

- Demonstrates an understanding Cloud Service Automation platforms/ tools.

- Awareness of ITIL and/or CMM practices and processes.

- Good knowledge of Infrastructure areas like Server, Storage, Backup, Network etc. both in traditional datacenter and Cloud platforms.

- Working knowledge on Cloud Platforms like AWS, Azure, OpenStack and Virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Xen, RHEV, KVM etc.

- Good Knowledge of traditional and new age migration methods.
