Senior Consultant/Assistant Manager - Legal Contracts - Financial Services (2-6 yrs)

Mumbai/Pune Job Code: 774763

Specific responsibilities include:

- Working on global Financial contracts;

- Proactively assisting and advising the global clients on various stages of contract lifecycle management;

- Drafting and negotiating financial contracts such as loan agreement, syndication agreement, credit agreement etc. and its subsequent amendments;

- Drafting, negotiating and assisting in execution of derivatives documents, such as ISDA, CSA, GMRA etc. for and on behalf of the various category of clients such as hedge funds, corporates etc.

- Working on contract remediation projects such as LIBOR remediation;

- Working closely and coordinating with the internal department globally.

Preferred Skills

- Prior experience of working on global financial contracts;

- Strong aptitude along with good academic and professional background;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

- Team focus and an ability to engage well with international clients;

- Aptitude to draft, negotiate, analytically review contracts

- Good facilitation, mediation, negotiation, and persuasion skills

- Good research, comprehension, analytical and decision-making skills

- In-depth experience in drafting, proofreading detailed correspondence, documents, reports and complex legal provisions
