JOB LOCATION : Delhi 1.0 Reporting line The position will report to Head Product Development 2.0 Position Summary: The person will be responsible to assist the HOD in day to day affairs related to the product development with relevant experience in FMCG, F&amp;B 3.0 Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities: - Product extension/new product planning, development &amp; launch - To understand the customer insight for the product, branding, marketing mix, etc. Analysis of data. - Select/Identify new vendors, manufacturer and concepts for new products or product improvement. - Plan &amp; coordinate all aspects of R &amp; D proposals. Closely work with R&amp;D &amp; cross functional teams to ideate, adapt &amp; develop new products from conceptualization, consumer research, creating launch plan and eventually the launch. - Competition Tracking, Updates and Analysis with Direct competitors with respect to product pricing, Packaging, new launch, catalogue and their strategies - Articulating brand and product positioning for different customer segments and implementing and executing the positioning proposition - To track brand health, understand major brand/category issues and determine timely market intervention - Evaluation of new product ideas, audit of findings, providing strategic inputs, negotiating formulation and attribute changes within the COGS parameters through the entire process of New Product Development. - Work closely with advertising agencies related to development of product labels, brochures etc. - Make product presentations and impart product trainings. - Ability to command respect across the organization based on professionalism and expertise 4.0 Qualification Requirements: - Post graduation/ MBA from any recognized institute/ university. - 8- 12 years of experience with MLM/FMCG/F &amp; B Competencies Required: - Should have exposure in Product Management - Strong analytical skills &amp; attention to detail. - Ability to think creatively and come up with ideas / thoughts with significant business/ organizational impact. - Strong strategic thinking ability - ability to plan and think ahead in anticipation of environmental shifts.
