Position : Senior Category Manager-Buying Food/Non Food FMCG Branded Business

Job Location : Bangalore

CTC upto 20 Lacs

Responsibilities

- Build and grow partnerships with food product manufacturers across Staples, Bakery and Fresh food products

- Research & study best practices in Product development and enhancement; should have very good product understanding

- Work with the supplier to develop the product and alter ingredients & processes if required for better tasting experience

- Understanding product packaging and improvement areas; work with the supplier to develop and enhance packaging

- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills to improve margins and other trade components

- Hustler- attitude to ensure fast and profitable selection ramp up

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Full time MBA from Tier 1/2 Institution

- Effective communication skills

- 4-7 years of relevant work experience

- Strong product knowledge of food is required

- Should be a quick learner

- Past experience working with suppliers and partners

- Strong relationship management & negotiation skills

- Identifies, builds and uses a wide network of contacts with people at all levels, internally and externally

- High ethical standards
