Business Manager & BU Head

- Looking for candidates having an experience (4-8 years) with a start-up.

- As a BU Head, this person would have an ownership of the Course Category.

- Responsible for the growth of the Business Unit and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Revenue Growth & Initiatives

- Understand the BU in-depth and build a high performing inside sales team which is motivated and committed for the achievement of revenue targets

- Responsible for P&L of the Business Unit

- Bring thought process to build up revenue pipeline for QoQ growth by taking productivity and strategic initiatives

- Ensure timely hiring based on QoQ revenue projections and participate in last stage of interviews

- Sales contest planning

- Sales forecasting & pipeline Management

People Readiness :

- Ensures that all the team members are trained and equipped with BU know-how

- Creating a learning environment for the team using competency skills and creating roadmap for career development and growth

- Maintain attrition under control

Business Ops :

- Coordinate with the marketing team and keep a track on lead volume and quality at channel level

- Track Key performance indicators and liaise with the respective teams i.e. batch, class feedback, instructor rating, content feedback, new course launch etc. that effect Repeat, Referral and New customer conversion funnel

- Ensure refunds are in control

- Ensure EMI collection is optimal

The role reports into the Sr. Mgr / Asst Director of Sales.

Qualification :

- Minimum 3-4 yrs of experience in P&L management in a startup ecosystem

- MBA Marketing / Ops/ Finance from Top institutes i.e IIMs ( Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak Shillong, Trichy, Udaipur, XIMB, etc.)

- Strong analytical skills

- Insurgent mindset with high focus for action.

- Ability to work with diverse teams (Customer acquisition, Delivery, Support, Content Development)

- Exhibit Drive for results through problem solving attitude, Ownership, Responsibility and Proactive

- Drive innovation & continuous improvement through Initiatives & Perseverance

- Min 3+ years of People Management experience is a must
