Senior Business Manager - B2B AgriTech Startup (3-6 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive new business growth and revenue.
- Identify and target new B2B clients across the agritech, restaurant, hospitality, hotels, and related industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including owners, operators, and purchasing managers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients that effectively communicate Farmtheory's value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and course-correct as necessary.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team as the business grows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and acquiring new clients.
- Experience in the agritech, restaurant, hospitality, hotels, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Strong network and relationships with decision-makers in the industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and revenue.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to analyze sales performance data and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and maximize revenue and profitability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and results.
