Our client is one of the largest and the most reputed Indian conglomerate in chemicals and fertilizers industry with a turnover of about 10000+ crores. They have manufacturing setups across 12 locations in the country and operate across 6 business units. With the presence in B2B, B2C and retail segment and an employee strength of 4000+ they are a highly profitable group.
They are now looking for Head - Marketing finance to handle the group's commercial operations.
Description
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for
- Sales Returns approval, Pricing Decisions (inputs for discounts), Reliability of the Sales Data (clearing-up all data discrepancies -past records), Credit policy, Channel appointments, Channel promotional schemes and Channel related aspects
- Monitoring receivables and working with the sales team to collect payments within the agreed credit cycle and limit, performing variance analysis (budget and actual analysis on all headings) & variable cost analysis (eg. freight cost)
- Monitoring receivables from dealers with marketing to minimise the outstanding to improve the liquidity. ensure & monitor the in dealer appointments, dealer credit assessment, reviewing dealer-wise outstanding payments and take appropriate actions,, resolving dealer grievances like credit note and debit note, institutional sales (preparing letter of credit)
- Supporting in H&T appointments, renewing agreements with C&F, H&T - fertilizer (annual or half-yearly)
- Preparing of annual budget preparation and roll out, ensuring total and timely statutory compliance (for local compliances)
- Managing, guiding and mentoring a team of 30+ people
Profile
You are a CA/ICWA/MBA with 15 - 20 years of experience preferably from chemicals/fertilisers/FMCG/Pharma industry
