Senior Business Development Director - Pharma & Life Sciences

About The Opportunity:

- Industry: Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences Quantum Software and AI-driven Drug Discovery.

- Sector: Computational drug discovery platforms serving pharma, biotech, CROs and academic research labs.

This global-facing role in Bengaluru will lead commercialisation of an AI and quantum-enabled drug-discovery platform across US, EU, APAC and Middle East markets.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute global go-to-market strategies to build a qualified enterprise and academic licensing pipeline for a quantum and AI-powered drug-discovery platform.

- Lead end-to-end enterprise deal cycles: identify opportunities, design PoC/validation proposals, structure multi-year co-innovation and licensing agreements, and close high-value contracts.

- Engage senior R&D stakeholders (VPs of R&D, heads of computational chemistry, structural biology and medicinal chemistry) to position the platform as a discovery-acceleration stack.

- Design commercial models, pricing strategies and value-based proposals that optimise deal economics for platform deployments and recurring licensing revenue.

- Coordinate cross-functionally with science, product and engineering teams to align technical solutions, run workshops and translate scientific value into commercial outcomes.

- Build strategic alliances with consultancies, system integrators, national labs and innovation hubs to extend reach and co-sell opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have:

- Enterprise Licensing.

- CADD.

- CRM (Salesforce).

Preferred:

- Experience with quantum-enabled computational workflows.

- Background in platform PoC design for pharma R&D.
