We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in capital markets to join our dynamic product team.

This role is critical in bridging business objectives with technical execution while driving product strategy and mentoring junior analysts.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in equity, derivatives, currency, and commodity markets, coupled with strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of capital market products including equities, derivatives, currencies, and commodities.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements in a structured manner.

- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FS), and other key analysis artifacts.

- Act as a functional expert between business users, development, QA, and sales teams to ensure shared understanding.

- Deliver impactful product demonstrations and conduct domain-specific training sessions for internal teams and clients.

- Provide end-to-end solutions for complex business challenges with alignment to organizational goals.

- Lead backlog grooming sessions, prioritize user stories, and monitor progress against sprint and release goals.

- Contribute to product strategy aligned with market trends, client needs, and organizational vision.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (SEBI, Exchanges, Depositories) and support audit readiness.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Audit, Development, and Implementation.

- Mentor and guide junior analysts, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Skills and Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets.

- Strong domain knowledge of equity, derivatives, commodities, and currency markets.

- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.

- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.

- Experience in stakeholder engagement, product demos, and workshops.

- Hands-on experience with business analysis tools and frameworks.

- Technical acumen to engage with development and QA teams effectively.

- Experience working with regulatory requirements and compliance deliverables.

- Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring capabilities
