Senior Business Analyst - BFS (5-10 yrs)
Job Description :
- Manage a team of 2-3 people
- Experience leading teams of Business analysts/Data Scientists
- Developer experience with Python (alternatively java) and SQL analysing large data sets, ideally experience with Pentaho and Vertica
- Experience analysing billing data (transactions, positions, client and account data, fee schedules)
- Experience analysing financial transaction data
Must have skills :
- We need a strong business analyst who can work independently and manage a small team of people.
- Need to have a background working in financial domain, and ideally a background in billing.
- 5 - 10 years of experience working in an analytical or technical role in Data Governance, Data Quality.
- Understanding of risk, finance and banking processes.
- Strong Data Analytics/profiling skills using SQL (strong SQL is key)
- Ability to effectively negotiate and influence to accomplish objectives in a matrix management environment
- Strong relationship management skills, consultative skills and client-facing experience
- Work independently on small to large and complex projects without the need for supervision
- Provide honest assessment to stakeholders of the expected delivery date of the problem resolution to
- Ensure consistency with their expectations
