JOB DESCRIPTION - SENIOR BRAND MANAGER

- Senior Brand Manager at the Corp. Marketing Department will report into the Brands and Communication Lead (ATL Lead). The primary role of the Senior Brand Manager will be to work closely with the B&C Head and various Business Heads to understand the business challenges, formulate creative briefs, and work with creative agencies to create various marketing assets like posters, ads, films, brochure and related POSM that drive marketing solutions for the stated business challenges / objectives.

- Creative Thinker : He / She is expected to use his / her experience in understanding various brand challenges and use their creative mind to inspire agencies for distinct creative solutions while ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels. Knowledge of creative tools like Illustrator / Adobe Photoshop etc. to guide the agency around brand assets like posters, ads, brochures, POSM, etc. is essential. The candidate should have prior experience in handling B2B brand communication, exhibitions and creation of assets.

- Interpersonal Skills and collaboration : Collaboration with internal teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to develop campaign messaging and creative assets that align with business objectives is given. Managing creative agencies with clear briefs/ project for a time bound delivery is mandatory.

- Brand Planning Skills : The Brand Manager should have prior exposure to brand planning, product launches and brand reports like Brand Funnel/ Brand Track, Need scope, Campaign MR etc. to make right interpretations for the brand & competition.

- Time Management : Creating and managing JSR (Job Sheet Reports) for all projects with the creative / media agencies and ensuring timely delivery is one of the key responsibilities of this role. Keeping the B&C Lead and internal stakeholders informed about the progress / challenges at all times is the natural progression of the above task.

- Media Planning and Digital : Understanding of mainline media planning with a fair understanding of digital marketing, especially social media ads is essential.

- Agency Management : Agencies are treated as extended teams for the Marketing function. The candidate is expected to keep them motivated and organised at all times / situations.

Qualification & Essential Attributes:

- Master's degree in marketing, communications (MBA or equivalent) or related field from Tier A College / institute of repute.

- Minimum of 8 + years of experience with at least 2 years in managerial or supervisory position.

- Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns that drive business results.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire creative teams.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and information clearly and effectively.

- Strong knowledge of design principles, typography, and visual composition.

- Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative tools will be an added advantage.

- Experience of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
