Senior Brand Manager - FMCG

We are looking for 'Senior Brand Manager' for Kolkata for a new JV (FMCG Industry)

About the role:

This is a key position in the marketing function, reporting directly to the head of marketing. This role will be responsible for creating the marketing strategy along with the head of marketing and then executing it through high impact marketing inputs. This position will directly liaise with creative, research & media agencies to actualize the marketing agenda. This role will also be responsible for coordination with sales team for best in class execution in trade.

Key Responsibilities:

- Marketing Strategy: Assist marketing head in formulating the marketing strategy for the categories that are identified for making a play in the FMCG space.

- Marketing Plans: Formulate marketing plans in line with the marketing strategy. Monitors Brand health, Brand performance in line with Marketing plan

- Portfolio Planning: Assume responsibility for brand vision, brand architecture & extensions as per requirement

- New Product Development: Strategize and own the new product development cycle

- Agency Management: Conceptualize and initiate relevant market researches. Initiates relevant briefs to the creative & media agencies for creation & execution of brand communication as per brand plans.

- Go to Market - Design and develop the market entry strategy for the brands.

Candidate Profile:

MBA/PGDBM with 5-10 years of total FMCG experience with at least 3 years in brand management
