Requirement Details: The incumbent of the position shall handle Brand and P&L for assigned FMCG categories.
Brand and Category Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute long-term category strategies aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Product Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the lifecycle of products within the category.
- Drive innovation and new product development in collaboration with R&D and other stakeholder teams.
P&L Ownership:
- Manage category budgets, pricing, and profitability.
- Monitor and improve gross margins and cost structures.
Go-to-Market Execution:
- Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product launches and promotions.
- Define and implement channel-specific strategies.
Consumer & Market Insights:
- Leverage consumer research and data analytics to guide decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of Assistant Brand Managers and Executives.
- Foster a culture of performance, innovation, and collaboration.
Other Requirements:
- Proven track record in managing large product portfolios and driving category growth.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing P&L.
