Senior Bid Manager - Global BPO (8-15 yrs)

Location : Bangalore.

Shift Requirement - Working hours will be to get the job done but supporting some European or Australian deals from Europe will require flexibility

MUST - Bid Management experience

Good to Have - Prince 2 or any other PMP qualification.

JD :

- The Senior Bid Manager role is a pursuit leadership role that complements the Sales or Account Development Lead in the pursuance of winning new business opportunities.

- The Senior Bid Manager is responsible for managing bid and complex opportunities from inception through to pursuit close. The bid manager contributes and manages the opportunity from deal qualification (Go / No Go Review) and assembles a bid team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process and activities.

- The Senior Bid Manager responsibilities include value proposition / sales strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification and proposal & risk management.

- Responsibilities includes the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance and processes. The role is highly networked role requiring an ability to manage and motivate a matrix managed team, engage with senior executives (both internally and externally and requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. The role requires strong interpersonal, communication, people management, business acumen and commercial skills.

Core Responsibilities

- Manage and contribute to the bid qualification (Go / No Go Decision) process for new opportunities

- Assemble and manage virtual bid teams comprising a variety of stakeholders, sales, solutions, transition, transformation, technology, IA, finance, commercial, legal and delivery

- Lead and motivate multi-functional teams in dispersed or complex environments

- Motivate the team by generating a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere

- Develop and manage the pursuit plan and direct the process for bids and maintain responsibility for the quality and consistency of all proposals

- Analyse bids/proposals at all stages ensuring that the overall solution optimises client's chance of success

- Set up overall strategy for the bid team including pre-Sales activities in co-operation with cross-discipline and onshore colleagues for qualification meetings, presentations and proposal presentations

- Ensure overall consistency of the bid strategy and anticipate critical success factors

- Prepare, shape and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer and ensure that the costs support the Price to Win

- Risk identification, evaluation, tracking and management throughout the bid process.
