Role Objective

My Client's firm is seeking to recruit bright and passionate individuals for Internal Audit functions, who have relevant work experience and skills.

Positions Available:

1. Senior Auditor - Statutory Audit, Riyadh Saudi Arabia (Qualified CA 2013-2014)

Experience: 2 years plus post qualification in top 10 accounting firm into Statutory Audit (IFRS) Department.

2. Supervisor, Riyadh Saudi Arabia (Qualified CA 2012-2013)

Experience: 3 years plus post qualification in top 10 accounting firm into Statutory Audit (IFRS) Department.

3. Asst. Manager Statutory Audit, Riyadh Saudi Arabia (Qualified CA 2011-2012)

Experience: 4 years plus post qualification in top 10 accounting firm into Statutory Audit (IFRS) Department.

4. Deputy Manager Statutory Audit, Riyadh Saudi Arabia (Qualified CA 2010-2011)

Experience: 4 years plus post qualification in top 10 accounting firm into Statutory Audit (IFRS) Department.

Role & Responsibilities

Project Related

Senior Auditor/ Supervisor/ AM/ DM would be leading large and complex Accounting & Advisory Projects (technical as well as process) along with other solutions of team including

GAAP convergence engagements involving planning, co-ordination and team management

Provide support to related areas such as GAAP convergence, new accounting pronouncements and other regulatory changes which impact accounting decisions

Apply the organisation's methodologies in servicing clients on IFRS/ GAAP convergence engagements

To be up to date with developments on regulatory and accounting matters

Provide accounting (IFRS/ GAAP) trainings to clients

They shall be having team members report to them at a project level

Senior Auditor/ Supervisor/ AM/ DM have the responsibility of project execution and shall report to a director/partner on every project. They shall be responsible for ensuring project profitability, quality as well as adherence to the agreed project plan

Senior Auditor/ Supervisor/ AM/ DM shall assist the Partner/Director in managing risks associated with the projects

Senior Auditor/ Supervisor/ AM/ DM shall be the primary on-going project level contact for clients

The job would require travel to client locations within Saudi Arabia and abroad.

People Related:

Plays the role of performance managers for junior staff

Actively involved in training, coaching and mentoring of junior staff

Business Development:

Perform business development lead generation till closure.

Proactively does sales oriented reporting during projects. These would include identifying possible business opportunities for various practices within the organisation.

Thought Leadership:

Contribute to solution development

Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge

Participate in practice initiatives and at times lead such initiatives such as knowledge management or thought leadership

The Individual:

Expert knowledge of financial reporting process, regulatory requirements, ability to think and advise clients on accounting and financial reporting matters, proactively identify client issues.

Possesses extensive experience in at least one of the key solutions of Accounting & Advisory Services.

Prior experience in client facing / account management roles

Exposure to business development in consulting (Pre-sales support, proposals, RFP responses)

Possess strong domain knowledge, understanding of business processes and possible risks in operations of at least two industry sectors

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Consistent display of leadership skills

Ability to work well in teams

Ability to work under pressure stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours

Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia or abroad for continuous long periods of time.

Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example

Qualification/ Experience:

Qualified Chartered Accountants / CPA / ACCA/ ACA.

2-6 years of experience into accounting advisory work, statutory audits, IFRS Conversion.

Professionals with industry experience and experience on IFRS, GAAP, accounting advisory, training, audit, due diligence, IFRS and securities offering assignments in India / abroad.

Selection process:

Candidates should expect 2-3 rounds of Personal Discussion/ interviews to assess fitment and communication skills.
