Senior Associate - Transaction Advisory Services - Financial Services Sector

Professionals within our Transaction Advisory Services ("TAS") practice assist our clients in understanding the value of their business enterprise, intellectual property, intangible assets, and complex financial instruments. We are engaged by our clients for a variety of purposes including: transactions, financial reporting, tax, regulatory, and strategic planning. Senior Associates contribute to complex engagements as part of the valuation process including tasks such as: developing financial models, conducting industry and company research, and constructing thorough and concise narrative reports. Senior Associates are responsible for performing high quality work in the creation of client deliverables.

- Ability to develop high quality draft deliverables consisting of valuation models, reports, proposals and presentations for review by senior team members

- Have strong knowledge of valuation principles, theoretical finance and economics; working knowledge of accounting

- Good hold of concepts related to cash flows, DCF, tangible and intangible valuation, and fixed income

- Ability to perform analyses in connection with FASB ASC 350, 718, 805, 820

- Ability to complete the projects in an efficient manner to meet client deadlines

- Assist with proper engagement documentation

Required Education and/or Experience:

- 2+ years' experience in performing audit, M&A, or transaction advisory services with a Big Four accounting firm or a recognized consulting firm.

- Financial institution experience

- Master's degree in Accounting or MBA from an accredited college/university. Progress towards achievement of ASA or CFA certification preferred

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, simultaneously work on multiple assignments, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

- Strong analytical and research skills

- Good knowledge of MS Office products
