Key Responsibilities -
1. To do re-credit of sampled disbursed cases by repeating the same credit processes which are followed by an underwriter with a view to confirm compliance to the credit policies and adherence to the laid down processes of respective products and programs.
2. To identify common and critical errors, good and bad practices across locations/regions and sharing of learning with the sales and credit team to improve the overall underwriting quality and help the underwriters/locations with high error rates to come up to the curve.
3. To do a root cause analysis of delinquent & NPA accounts and suggest corrective action including changes in the credit policy & processes if required based on the hind-sighting activity and its findings.
4. Visiting customers and collaterals based on certain triggers as stipulated in the Re-credit SOP.
5. Coordinating with the concerned credit team and other departments for seeking information/clarifications on re-credit observations & findings and preparing reports.
6. Sharing of case wise reports, consolidated reports and other periodical reports with all stakeholders and maintaining MIS.
