Senior Associate - Legal - Securities - Capital Markets - LLB/LLM

Position: Sr. Associate - Securities

Purpose:

Responsible for leading or supporting partners in key transactions.

Job Dimensions

To be a key player in transactions and manage clients for the organization.

Main interactions

Internal: Supporting & providing information to managing partner, partners, co-workers, and subordinates.

External: Representing the organization to clients and other external sources.

Job Responsibilities:

- Significant capabilities across the whole range of capital markets matters, including regulatory and statutory compliance issues, registrations with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

- Exposure in participating on the execution of IPO projects.

- Private placements of bonds, initial and follow-on public offerings, institutional placements, and takeovers.

- Debt and equity offerings.

- Handle business correspondences and reports.

- Coordinating the work of other professional parties on the transactions, e.g. investment bankers, lawyers, regulatory bodies and auditors for investment/ IPO projects.

- Candidate should be familiar with FEMA and Companies Act, 2013.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Legal degree (LL. B/ LL.M) with at least 5 - 7 years post qualification experience, with a focus on Capital Markets.

- Bar admission

- An ability to work within a team in an open-plan and dynamic environment.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Ability to work on multi-jurisdictional matters.
