Senior Associate - Legal - LLB/LLM (3-7 yrs)

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the drafting of documents, legal advisory support, execution of contracts, completion of all related legal formalities, and legal monitoring

- Develop and maintain relationships within the Banks / NBFCs

- Experience in Banking & finance, Project finance, Structured finance & Debt capital market

- Provide legal opinions and advice to clients on legal matters

- Seeks to understand the client's business, market, issues, and objectives for the matter

- Responding effectively to daily client queries and meeting clients' expectations.

- Manage contacts and negotiations with the Bank's clients and their legal counsel

- Draft and negotiate legal documentation for financing operations and guarantees

- Conduct diligent research into legal issues and ensure the reliable and timely execution of the company's day-to-day legal activities

- Anticipate and plan for all legal risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks;

- Draft/vet all agreements and negotiate the legal documentation across partners and contracts

Job Requirements:

- Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in Law

- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification professional experience

- Experience in Project Finance and Debt capital markets is mandatory

- Structured debt financing including experience in debt capital markets, external commercial borrowings, and bilateral and syndicated borrowings

- Experience in leading law firms or international PE/Debt funds is preferred

- Strong Communication skills (written & verbal)

- Highly analytical and problem-solving ability
