Hiring for a company that invests in startups and helps facilitate the next round of fundraising for their portfolio companies. Job Description: The role would involve managing the portfolio through its investment period and adding value to invested companies by: - Tracking monthly/quarterly performance of portfolio companies and updating the investors on that deal - Leading the next round of fundraising in companies by approaching Venture Funds, Family Offices & Corporates to evaluate funding in the active companies - Active involvement in getting an exit for current investors by negotiating the buy out clauses by new investors - Active involvement in closing of new opportunities - Acquihire, Acquisition, Takeover, M&A and other events - Analyse & Update the current Portfolio by generating monthly reports and helping the Investments teams improve their investing experience Candidate Requirement: - Experience in the Investor Relations role in the private markets or capital markets - Experience of working in a start-up/ or having started your own startup is a big plus - Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance/Consulting - Understanding of financial models, P&L/Cash Flow, calculation of IRRs, etc. - Ability to understand term sheets and legal aspects around startup investments - Ability to work in an unstructured environment with different stakeholders
