Senior Associate - Investments - BFSI - IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS (3-5 yrs)

Sourcing: Finding new startups to invest in and making the initial outreach, Review documentation and Data Rooms of potential targets, lead scouting and sourcing activities from the market

- Deal Execution: Modelling and valuation of investment opportunities, analyze, propose and conduct (sourcing through closing) new Venture Capital deals to the Investment Team and subsequently to the Investment Committee, assisting in all aspects of deal execution including market and financial due diligence and executing value creation plan

- Networking and Brand-building: Attending industry events and conferences, publishing content online, and speaking with other key contacts in the industry to stay on top of the market trends.

- Deal Evaluation: Conduct interdisciplinary evaluation of new investment opportunities, incl. business model analysis, competitor research, and due diligence. Review and analyze business models and financial models of/for the target.

- Market Research: Research and evaluate companies active in DeepTech/B2B SAS

Experience & skills that will help you succeed in the role :

- Understanding of technology stacks

- Ability to work independently

- Process centricity

- Detail-orientation

- Strong business and investment acumen

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Entrepreneurial, takes own initiative

- Good understanding of business and financial models

QUALIFICATIONS:

- An Engineer from a Tier-1 college

- Or an MBA from one of the leading business schools

- 4-7 years of work experience with technology product companies or in equity research dealing with technology space
