What will you do : The Global Human Resources Senior Associate is part of Dalberg's Global Shared Services (GSS) Team. S/he will strengthen their Global Human Capital pillar by providing both process, and team managerial support as well as strategic thought partnership to the Global Talent Senior Manager and Global COO, respectively. The Global HR Senior Associate will collaborate with fellow GSS team members, regional operations teams, and staff across all 29 global locations. Key responsibilities : - Manage and/or support People processes and associated data analysis within on/offboarding, employee training, review and performance management, staffing, staff wellness and experience, retention mechanisms, succession planning, HR IT and related systems, etc. - Provide supervision of ~1-2 junior People Operations team members and their workplans by balancing getting into the weeds on details of processes and providing strategic problem-solving and/or quality assurance of their workstreams related to performance, global absence module, employee reporting, etc. - Manage a range of administrative functions using various ERP/HR systems - in some cases directly, and in other cases providing oversight and quality assurance for the work of an operations administrator/coordinator - Provide support in preparing agendas and strategic materials for senior management meetings related to the People function - Develop and prepare analytical reports for senior management on e.g., aggregate performance, staff satisfaction and morale, staff goals and professional development, partner compensation, staff tenure, etc. - Identify changing needs of Dalberg and our staff, and propose ideas to meet these needs through new initiatives, process reengineering, etc. - Manage the People budget process, tracking spending, verifying costs, ensuring timely renewal of contracts, license purchases, etc. Requirements: - Experienced people professional and leader. You have min. 5 years of experience leading various People Operations workstreams with at least 1-2 years' experience as a direct supervisor of a small team. - Collaborative and inclusive. You can work seamlessly with all levels of an organization to influence decision-making and achieve impact; while applying cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds. - Good reasoning and sound judgement. You utilize analytical skills, critical thinking, and objectivity to make decisions, demonstrating discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information. - Industrious and organized. You are adaptable. You can prioritize competing priorities and process simultaneously while maintaining an attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work products. - Strong Communicator. You possess excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication, and team management skills. - Flexible working style. You are flexible in your schedule to permit working with colleagues in offices around the world, and are able to travel internationally, when needed. - Technical systems aptitude. You have experience in, and/or are keen to learn and use HR and ERP systems, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), PowerBI, SharePoint, etc. - Knowledge of and/or experience in HR/labor legislation within your country, with an interest to learn more across multiple countries and/or regions - Fluency in English - A bachelor's degree or higher
