Senior Associate - HR Operations - Shared Services (9-15 yrs)

Position Summary :

The Employee will be required to work for India (1000+ employees) & APJ (9 countries with 200+ employees) and provide support in all operational HR aspects in areas of Talent Management & Talent Engagement Activities. Responsibilities will include HR Connect, Insurance & Benefits, Employee Engagement and assist in communication and maintaining employee relations. Works with other internal functions and external service providers in close partnership

India

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of HR Connect:

HR Connect

- Responsible for India and APJ HR Connect and all related responsibilities & activities

- Incorporating Payroll inputs in workday - New Hire/Referrals/Patents/Etc.

- Responsible for liaison with Background Agency

- Responsible for Internal Mobility ( in country) and address issues relating to the same. Partnership with Global Mobility Lead for cross Country moves

- Monitors documentation is filed appropriately in personnel files to ensure SOX and ISO compliance

- Responsible for Workday support to employees & managers on day to day basis

- Responsible for raising & tracking any employees related tickets with the HRIS team

- Responsible for WD actionable like Creation of Supervisory Org., etc.

- Conducts exit interviews when delegated and feedback to management and analyze data on attrition

- Provide support to HRBP's and compensation break up data as needed

- Liaison, partnership and collaboration with CoE's and HRBPs

- Promotion of Tier - 0- usage.
 
Audit & Employee Issues : 

- Responsible for TL9000ISO Audit/EHS Audit/certifications (internal & external) held from time to time

- Counsels employees concerning work-related problems working closely with Director HR.

APJ :

- Responsible for ensuring Back Ground Checks are completed on Time including follow-up with the agency on a regular basis and closure of insufficiencies

- Responsible for quality standards of files in Workday and for Audit purposes

- Responsible for managing the HR Connect Mailbox in partnership with HR Connect colleague in region

- Responsible for Work day actions like creation of Supervisory Org

- Interface with Payroll for leaves and with Benefits relating to Benefits matters

- Liaison with the APJ HRBP and HR Connect colleague in region to ensure coordination and mutual back up as needed

- Interface with key partners ie: Payroll, Legal, Facilities and IT etc. to ensure coordinated on-boarding, separation and other key actions

Others :

- Assume other duties as assigned specially as back up in absence of other Team members

- Part of various committees like Fun Center, EHS, CSR to ensure effective workplace management

- Organize Kids day and other engagement activities

- Contribute to the formulation of HR Policies and Procedures and their roll out

- Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects working closely with Director HR.

Skills Must Have :

Computer Literacy - Microsoft Office

- Creativity in terms of thoughts for designing & release of all official communications from an HR aspect and in partnership with Internal Communications as required

- Use of discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality. This employee will work with employee personnel files and other sensitive confidential materials which should not be disclosed to any other employee internally or externally

- Demonstrate professional manner in all aspects of position and workplace with ability to question and push back in circumstances where required

- Excellent organizational and communication skills / detail oriented and methodical / ability to prioritize and use good judgment / uses systematic thought processes

- Managing complexity of 9 countries and understanding their culture and operating practices. An international outlook and understanding

- Interpersonal skills for interface with junior and senior levels

- Ability to coordinate and juggle many tasks at once in an environment where priorities change unexpectedly can occur

- Proven significant track record in an Human Resource Operations Support Role. Operational experience supporting multiple countries, ideally within the APJ region

- Masters/MBA degree or education/experience equivalent or relevant work experience preferably from the telecom industry

- Database experience a plus

- Knowledge of ERP package (People Soft/Oracle/SAP/Workday)
