Job Title: Global Regulatory Senior Associate - Home & Hygiene

Reports to: Global Regulatory Manager [Category] Manager/Snr Mgr

SUMMARY

Development of the regulatory strategies for the assigned projects with a commercial mind set, working with the Regulatory Senior Manager and Manager in driving regulatory expertise and understanding at feasibility and throughout the project. Collaborate with LRA/Po1 to define development plans and timings of projects and critical regulatory parameters in data and timings.

Responsible for the creation and delivery of the product core dossier/technical file relating to project. Working with the dossier/technical file authors to ensure consistency and - right first time- approach, you will deliver dossiers/technical files or other product information on time and in line with the agreed regulatory strategy.

Assist the Manager/Senior Manager to identify regulatory possibilities to shape future policy, gather, disseminate & assess regulatory & regulatory competitive intelligence for assigned brands.

SCOPE / DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

As an associate you will support the manager and will provide the appropriate SME knowledge, you- ll work to support an integrated approach to regulatory planning across innovation and will provide SME knowledge for your assigned projects.

You will ensure that all regulatory dossier/internal technical file activities are completed according to the best process, in a consistent approach across projects.

Wide stakeholder management including Category R&D, SSG, Local Reg, Supply and Marketing

Provides support to more junior members of the team when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Global Regulatory Senior Associate - Home & Hygiene will have the following responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with Snr Manager/Manager in order to define and implement the regulatory strategy

- Work collaboratively within R&D community to define global registration dossiers and technical documentation. If required, attend meetings with regulatory bodies in order to confirm submission requirements.

- Ensure high quality and accuracy of technical file/dossiers vs. agreed requirements, highlighting any potential issues and working with the authoring functions and LRA.

- Work in partnership with the local regulatory teams to identify and be aware of key requirements and that they are taken into account to deliver a - right first time- approach to new product development.

- Support key innovation initiatives as required and assigned by manager.

- Responsible for project management of Regulatory NPD requirements & dossier/technical file creation in line with the project strategy.

- Assist in monitoring, collecting, interpreting and sharing with business partners, regulatory issues and trends that will impact RB products, policies and procedures. Assist in the development of strategies and plans of action to address them.

- Assist in the preparation of responses to address significant safety, regulatory and PR issues in the assigned Category

- Support internal investigations into allegations of non-compliance

- Devise, and deliver to business partners, training materials that optimally prepare the business for the present and future regulatory environment

- Responsible for delivery of dossier/technical file to agreed time frames and collaborate across partner functions to ensure timely deliver of all information required, to enable robust and consistent project updates.

- Supports work required to refine Regulatory processes and procedures to optimise accuracy and efficiency, thus enabling speed to market.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

Qualifications (Training, Education & Prior Experience):

- Educated to honours degree level in a scientific field or equivalent experience

- Regulatory Experience and knowledge in NPD and dossier/technical file creation and global registrations.

- Active knowledge of relevant classifications impacting the products in the brand.

- Technical Competencies:

Knowledge of the Regional and Global regulatory environment and how it impacts regulatory dossiers development and country registration

Assist in dossier preparation, variations and renewals (where applicable and dependent on regulatory positioning)

Ability to communicate regulatory requirements

Understanding of global product development practice, rules, regulations and guidelines.

Familiarity with factors likely to influence the regulatory environment, including new and emerging guidelines relevant to dossier deliveries.

High level of accuracy in reviewing and authoring documentation

- Ability to consistently deliver to time, cost and quality standards in a high pressure environment

- Knowledge of submission processes and product life cycle management activities for various consumer product categories.
