Senior Associate - Financial Advisory - CA/IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Looking for a Senior Associate @Delhi for a leading financial advisory firm.

Our client is an independent international Financial Advisory Services Company with experience in projects across 36 Countries providing services in the areas of Investment Advisory, Project Finance, Financial Analysis, Financial Modelling, Mergers & Acquisitions, Commercial and Financial Due Diligence, Project Restructuring and Policy Reform for the infrastructure sector with focus on Energy, Water and Transport. With offices in the India, USA, Korea, Singapore & Dubai, they have built international reputation for providing a comprehensive range of financial advisory services for Infrastructure Projects.

Project Delivery and Management

Currently our client is looking for a senior associate for climate finance.

Work Profile:

1. Deliver high quality work under guidance of the team-lead, meeting project requirements, timelines, accuracy and completeness

2. Engage with clients to spread awareness, build capacity, and assist them with monetizing their emission reductions through compliance and voluntary GHG Programs like Clean Development Mechanism (CDM),Voluntary Carbon Standards (VCS), Gold Standard (GS4GG) and Global Carbon Council (GCC)

3. Assist the Climate Finance Team with all aspects of project delivery including analysis and document preparation clients with funding of GHG emission reduction projects across sectors

4. Policy Research and monitoring of developments in the compliance and voluntary carbon markets, trends in carbon pricing, and development of carbon initiatives across the world

5. Ability to work in multicultural environments and multidisciplinary team

6. Prepare reports, information memorandum, project briefs and presentation

Client Interaction

1. Interact and engage with client teams to understand their requirements

2. Respond to the client's needs and priorities under the guidance of team lead

3. Support the team in designing and developing solutions to best address client's needs and requirements.

Business Development

1. Building relationship with traders, brokers, consultants, originators of carbon projects, and with end-use consumers who generate carbon credits in various markets across the globe

2. Track carbon finance related project opportunities supported by institutional clients such as the World Bank, EBRD< ADB, European Commission, etc.

3. Identifying opportunities for carbon abatement strategies for clients

4. Conducting internal and external webinars, workshops and training sessions on monetizing benefits in Carbon Markets

5. Engage with clients to spread awareness about carbon-offset and ESG programs

6. Support the development of client proposals

Education:

- Master's in Finance from premier B-Schools OR CA

- Post-graduate 3 to 5 Years of Experience

- Relevant Experience in Climate Finance Advisory /Voluntary Carbon Market / Carbon Offset Project Development / International Renewable Energy Certificate (I-REC) / Carbon Offset and I-REC Z portfolio management / Carbon Neutrality / Net Zero Emissions / International Business Development.
