Senior Associate - Credit Research - BFSI

Looking for a professional holding at least 8+ years of experience in providing fundamental research (Specifically Credit Research) support to a buy-side client. This role works in close partnership with other stakeholders across the business to ensure a coordinated approach to monitoring effectiveness of different aspects of investment research - initiating/maintaining analysis on the coverage universe, understanding macroeconomic and sectoral trends, tracking corporate events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Providing investment research support to global asset managers investing across the capital structure

- Initiating/maintaining client specific deliverables, such as financial models with projections, screeners, research notes, newsletters, etc., for the companies/industries under coverage

- Participating in earnings calls and preparing earnings summaries

- Communicating ideas and research findings to the Portfolio Manager

- Prioritizing and executing multiple assignments including adhoc assignment within tight deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:

- Sound experience in fundamental investment (in both equity and credit) research (2-4 years)

- Deep understanding of equity and credit research (valuation, capital structure analysis, etc.)

- Exposure to US/European capital markets

- Strong excel modelling and analytical skills with attention to detail

- Ability to independently execute assignments under tight deadlines

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
