Senior Associate/AVP - Real Estate Credit Rating - Risk Management Team - Investment Banking (5-9 yrs)

Opening is with domestic IB firm

The Real Estate Risk Management Team is a compact, highly focussed team involved in the risk assessment of real estate developers. The organisation structure of the team is flat and provides an opportunity to interact directly with the Credit Committee. Each member of the team is client facing. This specific role is a multi faceted role with responsibility of credit underwriting and risk management.

- New Initiatives And Proactive Approach - Takes initiatives proactively for improvements in processes / risk mitigation approach.

- Knowledge of RBI guidelines for credit exposure

- Industry and Sectoral knowledge

- Current information and financial data covering political / economic/ Ratings/ World Bank/ IMF programs using reports published by various Rating Agencies / Central Bank etc.

- Experience in dealing with real estate developers in the NCR market

- Drive For Results/ Business Acumen Focus

- Displays ability to think out of the box. Solution provider.

- Eye for detail

- Strong Interpersonal skills

- Recommend changes to policy / process based on local nuances / competitor feedback.

Skills & Experience:

- Conduct process audits

CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Risk Management:

- Identifying risks arising out of a transaction and security structures and suggesting mitigants

- Stress test of loan portfolio

- Support Risk Management through research and analysis of micro markets

- Interacting with rating agencies

- Keeping updated on the regulatory framework and implementation of legal and regulatory compliances

- Credit & Risk
