Specialization in the area of Corporate Treasury - Hedge Accounting (including knowledge on various standards governing hedge accounting like IFRS 9/ Ind AS 109, ASC 815, IAS 39/ AS 30, IFRS 7/ Ind AS 107), valuation of derivatives.

- Handle an engagement for implementing Hedge Accounting as per IFRS 9/ Ind AS 109 for a treasury hedging forex and interest rate risks for one of the largest Telecom companies.

- Conducted review of Hedge Accounting as per IFRS 9/ Ind AS 109 for a power company having complex hedge strategies.

- Implementing Hedge Accounting as per ASC 815 (US GAAP) at an IT Company along with preparation of relevant disclosures.

- Review of internal controls/ financial reporting controls in order to identify design gaps in the area of Forex/ investment/ borrowing for various clients across industries like IT, Aluminum manufacturer, Tyre manufacturer, premium conglomerate etc.

- Engagement for review of forex area for a large Automobile company in the UK including preparation of RACM and discussion with process owners.

- Engagement for review of forex area for a Pharmaceutical Company and additionally led discussions with statutory auditors of the Company on the observations and its financial impact.

- Review of forex management policy, adherence of the policy and benchmarking with industry lead practices for an EPC Company. In a follow up engagement, prepared Risk Management Policy for the company and helped the client in first-time implementation of Hedge Accounting as per AS 30 along with conducting training to equip relevant process owners with the same.

- Conduct Investment review of the retail entity of one of the largest conglomerate.

- Prepared the investment policy for the company in a follow-up engagement.
