Senior Analyst - Research - CFA/PhD - Education Assessments & Impact Evaluation (1-5 yrs)

You are a researcher, an educationist, a statistician or an economist who has atleast 2-5 years of experience in leading Impact Assessment projects preferably in the field of Education.

Job Location: Hyderabad

Tasks & Responsibilities -

1. Design impact assessment methodology and framework by understanding project objectives and stakeholder requirements

2. Design or choose from existing set the appropriate measurement tools for the study

3. Develop appropriate data structures and analytical framework based on the study design

4. Analyse and present findings and actionable insights to different stakeholders

5. Write reports based on the study and publish the impact assessment report

Education & Experience -

1. PhD in education, statistics, or a related area- or a Master Degree in any of the following areas: psychometrics, educational measurement and evaluation, statistics, assessment, economics, policy, learning theory or related field

2. Minimum 2 years of full time related work experience in education setting, preferably within the field of educational assessments

3. Proficiency with one or more statistical software packages (e.g., Conquest, SPSS, Stata, R etc)

Qualification -

1. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: quantitative research methods, qualitative research, longitudinal analyses of student learning outcome data and measurement techniques like item response theory or Rasch Model

2. Knowledge of research design, causal inference, sampling, reliability, validity generalizability threats

3. Knowledge and ability to navigate tensions between theoretical purity and practical constraints in both psychometric and educational research.

4. Experience preparing written reports of research findings-

5. Good presentation skills.

6. Proven ability to work independently and communicate pro-actively and professionally with customers and within the organization.

7. Demonstrated commitment to quality and innovation.-
