Position: M&A Deputy General Manager

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Group Head M&A

5 days work from office

What you'll do:

- Responsible for key M&A activities that the company maybe evaluating, provide all transaction support

- Work with business heads and executive management team to identify M&A opportunities for strategic growth

- Engagement with third party advisors including accounting and legal firms Drive key identified growth initiatives / projects

- Drive projects on growth, revenue and efficiency initiatives from time to time, which may involve liaising with external consultants

- Conduct competitor benchmarking analysis on a periodic basis- Conduct market research for key trends in India and globally in the relevant industries of the company to track consumer trends, technology trends and regulatory actions- Review external data to anticipate socio-economic and demographic changes Periodic Tracking of Investee Companies which are a part of Portfolio and Providing key insights and updates to leadership

- Result orientation and ability to meet and establish deadlines

- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, good communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ongoing and future organizational changes

- Critical thinking & problem solving attitude

What we are looking for :

- MBA from a tier1/tier2 institute/leading B Schools or CA degree 5 to 6 years of work experience in Corporate Finance, Consulting, Private Equity or

- Investment Banking and/or in Corporate Strategy teams, venture capital

- Excellent valuation/analytical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and a keen business sense

- Direct experience owning and managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders in driving M&A and Investment processes

- Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation and meeting facilitation skills.

- Self-motivated and willingness to proactively take on leadership roles within a deal team or the company at large

- Experience in fast-growing environments preferred. Proven ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail
