Senior Analyst - Global PE Fund

Looking to hire within the Finance Team of a leading Global PE Fund.

Role: Senior Analyst

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 3- 6 years in an accounting or auditing function

Key responsibilities :

1. Actively participate and support the resolution of complex technical accounting issues

2. Support publicly traded companies in consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS

3. Preparation of Private Fund and LP reporting, consolidated Fund financial statements under US GAAP, investors capital statements, related items on a quarterly and annual basis

4. Review preparation of capital call and distribution notices to investors

5. Work closely with Global Finance Team in assist with forecasting queries, financing, new accounting standards

6. Financial reporting on portfolio companies to global team on monthly and quarterly basis

7. Valuations of fund investments on a quarterly basis

Ideal candidate:

1. CA preferred

2. Stint at Big 4 would be highly preferred

3. 3-5 years' experience in accounting or auditing function

4. Strong financial systems experience

5. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

6. Advanced Excel skills

7. Experience in:

a. Private Investment Funds

b. US GAAP Investment Company accounting

c. Complex legal structures
