Senior Analyst - Fund Operations - BFSI

Role : Sr Analyst Fund Operations

Organisation : Multi-strategy fund

Location : Dubai

Qualifications : MBA Finance or CA ; working in MNC backoffice hedge fund or multi strategy international fund

Main role : Reconcile daily trades with prime brokers .

- Oversee trade instruction and settlement, position reconciliation, corporate actions, fund expense payment processing and cash management, etc.

- Review for daily operations reports provided by Fund Admin.

- Month end NAV.

- Compliance monitoring and Reporting

- Investment restriction monitoring

+ rest in detailed JD

In addition to above skills and experience - outstanding knowledge of Excel and macros is essential.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Knowledge of creating Excel macros a major plus

- Knowledge of Portfolio and/or Risk Management Systems a Plus

- Basic understanding of the Asset/Fund Management Industry a Plus

- Non-Investment Functions e.g. operations, trade reconciliations, Compliance, fund accounting, risk management, portfolio management systems of the Fund/Investment Management business

- Internal and/or Financial Audit experience in a DFSA or another global regulator jurisdiction

- DIFC & DFSA reporting
