Job description :

IT / Telecom Sector Analyst job profile and requirements:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sell-side/buy-side equity research tracking the IT / Telecom sector.

- Deep understanding of the sector with experience in authoring detailed industry thematic reports, initiating coverage reports, quarterly earnings updates and company event reports.

- Building and updating detailed financial models using various valuation techniques such as DCF, Relative Valuation, assigning price targets and offering justification for the rating in the report.

- Tracking portfolio and sector news on a daily basis, reviewing the ratings and price targets of stocks under coverage and updating models / preparing event notes at short notice.

- Knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet etc is a must.

- Ability to communicate with the onshore analyst and modify output according to client requirements.

- Willingness to work in diverse teams and to ensure timely delivery according to client requirements is a key requisite.

- Candidates with MBA (Finance)/CA/CFA qualifications are preferred for the role.
