Senior Analyst - Equity Research

Role :

- Support the portfolio manager of a global asset management company

- Take complete ownership of maintaining the models including real time earnings support

- Listening to company conference calls and drafting summaries

- Preparing one-page summarized reports on the companies under coverage from an equity perspective, discussing business profile, background and valuation

- Regular surveillance of assigned portfolio by proactively tracking the company events, peer group and other industry information sources

- Create, update and maintain various industry databases and provide timely updates on sector trends

- Support the client with any other ad-hoc research requests

- Improving the existing model templates and/or automating them

Candidate Profile :

- Strong financial modelling skills. Should be able to independently create, update and forecast financial models

- Independent and decisive mindset

- Critical thinking skills

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy; Diligence and hard work

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Essential Qualifications :

- Educational background : MBA \ US CFA \ CA

- Around 1-5 years of experience in financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with Bloomberg and FactSet, especially in building Bloomberg-linked models
