Overall purpose of role Responsible for supporting Customer Office Division of US Credit Card through analytics and strategy optimization for marketing programs (rate sale, easy pay plan, spend, network upgrades etc.). This team works in close collaboration with Customer Office team and Partnership team and designs and executes analytical recommendations to enable profitable portfolio growth. Key Accountabilities : - Perform in-depth analysis of existing customers to identify short-term and long-term wallet share growth and profitability optimization opportunities through rate sale, easy pay plan, spend and other marketing programs - Identify gaps and areas for enhancement and develop reports tracking key performance indicators across existing customers for rate sale, easy pay plan, spend and other marketing programs - Using advanced analytics enhance targeting of existing customers for currently available programs and develop targeting for future program launches and tests - Initiate, design, implement and read tests for ongoing basis to optimize population, offers and channels. Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in an analytical/statistical discipline required (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research or related quantitative field) - 1+ years of analytical experience in marketing analytics, risk analytics or other quantitative/analytics field - Ability to write and execute analytical queries in SAS, SQL, Python to extract data from a database and perform data analysis to develop new solutions and drive business insights - Solid written/verbal communication skills Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: - Bank, Cards, or related financial services industry experience preferred - Master's degree in an analytical/statistical discipline preferred (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research or related quantitative field). - Good understanding of financial services business and profitability (P&L) structure - Good senior stakeholder management and presentation skill
