- The roles involves working and supporting an industry leading structured finance department within a large investment bank. Specifically, this involves credit analysis/portfolio management support for a large department that lends money to financial institutions.&nbsp; - The roles also involves review of various client documents, under taking financial review, credit analysis, writing different types of memos, compiling regular reports, trend analysis, covenant review, ratio calculations, etc. and will require working closely with front office team in the business. The roles involves significant opportunities to learn, develop and work as an integral member of the business. The role can also involve team management responsibilities as well. Responsibilities : 1. Financial statement spreading &amp; analysis to support the lending decisions. 2. Reviewing monthly client reporting to check for completeness &amp; accuracy of financial calculations including covenants 3. Preparing a summary of the above either in written format or in a common-sized excel format 4. Maintaining various databases and various spreadsheets for internal reporting 5. Tracking &amp; reporting on financial trends of the client or loan we've given them 6. Preparing monthly &amp;/or quarterly decks to report on the above 7. Training &amp; mentoring junior colleagues along with reviewing, checking &amp; overseeing and undertaking workload planning as well. Minimum Qualifications: 1. At least a B. Com or equivalent degree or MBA, CFA or CA a plus 2. Total experience of 2-12 years of experience, with minimum 2 years experience in credit analysis, debt or equity research, corporate lending or structured finance (including mortgage securities, bond securitizations or Collateralized lending) 3. Prior managerial skills a plus 4. Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel &amp; PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of excel, VBA etc. is a plus . Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Ability to speak articulately &amp; strong business writing skills (error free, correct grammar, etc)
