Location: Gurugram.

LIFE INSURANCE experience is MANDATORY.

Responsibilities:

- Building, enhancing, and testing actuarial models for a variety of products (Term, WL, UL, VUL, FA/FIA, VA) built on companies proprietary ALM software.

- Ability to understand multiple regulations/accounting and solvency capital regimes (US Stat, GAAP, EBS, IFRS, Sol II etc.)

- Challenge and identify the gaps/areas for enhancements in current model implementations.

- Assist in different M&A deals across the life insurance space by conducting stress and scenario testing, vetting the experience study results, cash flow testing, and more to evaluate various facets of the deal

- Independently perform validations & adequacy checks including data quality

- Collaborate with different team members and relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

- Any Graduate.

- At least Cleared 2 - 4 papers of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or the Institute of Actuaries of India or equivalent

- Knowledge of annuity products (VA, FIA, FA, SPIA) and corresponding US statutory / GAAP regulations is a big plus

- Exposure to any of the actuarial modeling software (Moody's Axis, Prophet, MG ALFA, Aon PathWise, MoSes, or other commonly used software) is a plus

- Programming experience with at least one programming / statistical language (C#, Python, R, etc.) is a plus, but not mandatory to apply

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & VBA)

- Able to see and shape the "bigger picture". Comfortable working in a flat structured organization and interacting with executive management / investors is essential

- Demonstrated desire to take initiative, critical thinking and has sense of ownership.
