Senior Advisor - Controllership - Finance Shared Centre - CA

Hiring for Senior Advisor - Controllership for a finance shared centre.

- CA mandatory with post CA experience of at least 8+ years and working knowledge of SAP.

- Month-end closing and reporting, preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L, etc.

- Act as the functions Finance SME and work to ensure the plans and actual costs reflect the most accurate position possible.

- Monitor the performance of Outsourced analysts servicing the function and elevate their performance to ensure their success.

- Possess complete understanding of the functions operating activities, resource profile, cost structure, cost reduction initiatives, non-operating activities and capital expenditures.

- Review the cost center assignment file to ensure all required cost centers are captured and assigned prior to commencement of plan/forecast cycle.

- Complete plan/forecast presentations.

- Communicate with Outsourced analysts to ensure you understand how they engage with our customers (which customers, method of communication, quality of observable communication, etc.) during the execution of plan and forecast cycle activities.

- Review all outputs (templates, variations, headcount data, capex, etc.) from Outsourced analysts to ensure completion, accuracy and quality.

- Possess complete conceptual understanding of the functions cost sources (payroll module, service entry sheets, accruals, depreciation entries, etc.)

- Utilize the above understanding to monitor the functions overall cost position.

- Review month-end variance analysis submissions and add value as needed/possible to improve accuracy, quality and depth of feedback on performance and cost issues.

- Review cost center analysis worksheets for being up to date and accurate and ensure issues if any, are being resolved.
