Senior Accountant for Ghana

- The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions.

- This role involves preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- M.Com/ CA qualification is mandatory.

- Proficiency in Tally /ERP is required. Candidates must pass the Tally/ERP assessment to proceed to the interview stage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Taxation, and Controllership.

- Manage management reporting processes to provide actionable insights to leadership.

- Handle all aspects of taxation and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

- Maintain financial controls and ensure the integrity of financial operations.

Working Conditions:

- Office environment with occasional travel within Ghana, if applicable.

- Ability to work extended hours during peak reporting periods.

- Experience in Trading and manufacturing: 3 to 5 years out of total experience.

- Previous Ghana / Africa experience is highly preferable: 1 to 2 years out of total experience.
