Senior Account Manager - Cloud Solutions - IT Startup (12-18 yrs)
Role Summary :
The ideal candidate will possess both a business development and technical background that enables him or her to engage at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Accelerate customer adoption by identifying specific customer segments and industry verticals to approach with a value proposition for using cloud services.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with startups at the C-levels of Business & IT
Work closely with the Channels team to ensure that our client is the partner's preferred cloud computing platform across all service lines.
- Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
- Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions, Big Data & Internet architectures
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications :
- 12+ years of technology related sales or business development experience.
- A technical background in engineering, computer science/MIS or equivalent work experience required.
- Direct field experience in working with top enterprise accounts / startups across your assigned territory.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Extensive customer & contact network.
- Fluent in English & another language (territory dependent).
Preferred Qualifications :
- BE/BTech or Equivalent degree required. Masters or MBA a plus.
- Direct field experience in working with top enterprise/high growth startup accounts across your assigned territory.
