SeedWorks - Engineering Manager - Digital Transformation

- The Digital Transformation function in SeedWorks International has the charter to build competitive edge to the business by proactively building world class high quality innovative IT, Digital and Business Process Improvement solutions/services for creating new Business Models and Process Transformation, leveraging appropriate and emerging digital technologies.

- As an Engineering Manager, you will identify, hire and build a world-class team of Development Engineers to define, drive and execute on Firm's vision. You will develop a team of highly motivated and talented individuals that can collaborate with Product Managers and SDEs across the company. You will design, build and own various features and programs that will delight our customers.

Ideally candidates should have:

Required Skills:

- As a key member of the technology team, develop & work with Product Management, Mobile Engineering and DevOps team to deliver new, compelling products to customers.

- Ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, translate them into technical solutions, and lead engineering efforts to meet timelines

- Facilitating the end-to-end delivery of Products (Mobile, Web and Backend) and ensuring they are accomplished against the target deadlines and standards.

- Solid experience in customer centric mobile application development with a passion for customer usability, simplicity, and performance.

- Exposure to technologies such as Java, JavaScript, React.js, React Native, Node.Js, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, Kafka, NoSql, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform or AWS backend and Service Oriented Architecture.

- Strong experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.

- Develop new algorithms for predicting or influencing consumer behaviour prediction (e.g.: next purchase, attrition etc.) - Build, validate and deploy into production.

- Work with the CTO, PM and Business to develop a long-term product plan and manage the release planning cycles for your products

- Instill best practices for software development, ensure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on schedule

- Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments

- Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services

- Providing progress updates and reports to the department head, and feeding relevant information back to the teams
